It seems like a lot of people, regardless of what type of diet they are doing, they take “cheat days”. Frankly, I don’t get it. If you work hard for 6 days, why ruin your hard work on day 7 and cheat?
Some very restrictive diets may lead to feeling the need to “cheat” but the ketogenic diet that I eat really keeps me feeling full on my feasting days, and yet is still very healthy and filling. So, I just don’t ever feel the need to cheat. It does not happen.
Check out my video below where I talk about Cheat Days, you decide what you think.
So, what do you think about cheat days? Do you feel the need? If so, what kind of results do you see on the scale after having a cheat day?

Hi Bob,
You know I love reading what you write! So, I have to tell you that videos are not my thing… I like reading, not watching. Partly, no doubt, because I am hard of hearing, but I can also get through the information so much quicker. I feel this way about all videos, not just yours; cooking videos, TED talks, etc. So, I probably won’t watch most of them, although I did watch a couple. Just so you know, since you asked for feedback!

Hi Luanne. I do understand that completely. We are opposite. Reading is difficult for me, because although my eyes have improved a lot, it is just not easy to read, so watch videos to learn. I plan to do both, videos and writing. Right now I am making a big effort to grow the video part, gain a lot of subscribers to my YouTube Channel. I don’t plan to abandon writing, just making a big push in the other direction for now. Hope you understand.
